Current Ethical Issues for Breast Cancer Advocates (2017)

The WBCC hosted an event to examine challenges for advocates and advocacy at our Fall Speaker Forum, 1-4pm, Friday, November 10, 2017, at the University of Wisconsin — Milwaukee Zilber School of Public Health, 1240 N 10th St in Milwaukee. Our four outstanding speakers helped us navigate challenges accompanying the rise of advocacy in healthcare, and identified ways to be more effective in our work. The event was aimed at breast cancer advocates, other cancer advocates, healthcare providers, community engagement professionals, and those interested in medical ethics.
