It is our advocacy that distinguishes us from other breast cancer organizations in Wisconsin. WBCC was formed with a mission of influencing policy – either legislative at the state and federal levels, or through systems changes that would positively impact the breast cancer community. Our grassroots network of members and advocates around the state represents the unified voice of people concerned about breast cancer. Whether it’s about finding breast cancer, treating breast cancer, looking for ways to prevent breast cancer or supporting survivors and their families, the WBCC provides the means to take our messages to key decision makers.
Hayley Young became WBCC’s Capitol Advocate in July 2016. She will be our point person on state policies, helping us make connections and bring information to key policy players in Madison. Contact Hayley at firstname.lastname@example.org.

Legislative Report Card
The WBCC often has policy priorities that result in a vote of either Congress or the State Legislature. We keep track of who supports our priorities, and who does not. Please see the current Legislative Report Card by clicking the link below. Remember, your voice and your vote matter. Know where your representatives stand on issues that are important to you!
